You may overlook the importance of an AntiVirus software. You may also think that “With having an AntiVirus software installed your computer is not at risk”. Actually, you do not only need to have it but also update it and test it. I have a tip for you to test the ability of your AntiVirus software by creating an artificial virus to trick your own computer. Don’t panic! It is true that this is a virus but it does not affect your computer at all whether the AntiVirus software is installed into your computer or not. Therefore you do not need to worry about its effect, believe me !


How to create the artificial virus.com to trick your computer ?
  • Open the NotePad program.
  • Type this code like below into the NotePad file.
    X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
  • Save the Notepad file as virus.com . To comfortably find the virus.com, I suggest placing it in the Desktop.
  • Run the virus.com file to test your computer efficiency. If there are not any responses from the AntiVirus software, I suggest changing your AntiVirus immediately because it does not work anymore.
  • Enjoy testing it and note that this virus.com cannot affect or damage any parts of your computer.
