Sony Ericsson W910i - HSDPA Walkman Phone with Shake

Sony Ericsson W910i - Shake phone!
All hail the Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman phone, rocking quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE with HSDPA and Shake control. The Walkman lineup has been a huge success for Sony Ericsson and it’s not hard to see why. Having your phone as your portable music player is a great thing and the Sony Ericsson W910i takes it to a whole new level! The W910i can even match you’re mood with the SensMe feature and will play the right song according to mood and tempo. And, with the included 1GB Memory Stick Micro, you can store up to 900 songs on your W910i - which you can control using the innovative Shake control feature. Use “Shake” motions to navigate through your favorite tracks - flicking one way or the other will advance or retreat through tracks, while “shaking” the phone will shuffle your tracks.

And at 12.5mm slim, this thing is a sure winner!

The Sony Ericsson W910i Walkman Phone includes the PlayNow application that connects you to Sony BMG’s catalogue of music, games, and ringtones for OTA (over the air) downloading. That HSDPA connection is sure to come in pretty handy when you’re downloading all your favorite songs! And, once you’ve downloaded your tracks, you can select which songs you want to hear by instructing the SensMe feature to play only those songs that match the mood and tempo that you want - which are graphically displayed for easy selection.

The Shake feature gives you another level of control over your music and games. Why navigate through buttons and icons to skip, repeat, or shuffle your music? Simply flick or “shake” the W910i to navigate through or shuffle your tracks. And, the same sensors that control music playback can be used in games - like controlling game movement by actually moving the phone in the desired direction. Want to turn left, tilt the phone to the left, it’s that simple!

It’s kind of strange that Sony Ericsson would equip the lesser Walkman Phone (the SE K910i only has 40MB onboard memory, while the SE K960i has 8GB of onboard memory) with the high-speed HSDPA connection and leave the Sony Ericsson K960i without that sought-after broadband connection. Still, we’re not going to complain when the cheaper model has the better data connection.
